Parking at Saint Andrew’s
If you are coming to Saint Andrew’s, you have several options for parking…
Old Pendleton Street Baptist Church Parking Lot - Enter through Main Street, Not Rhett Street (immediately beside and behind the church property) - Pendleton Street Baptist Church (PSBC), whose building used to be where The Greene apartments are now, still owns this lot. However, Saint Andrew’s has an agreement to use the spots as follows (without paying for individual parking spots):
Sundays - All available spots are open to folks who are coming to Saint Andrew's for worship. (If there is an attendant selling spots for some downtown event, just tell the attendant that you are here for church, and they will wave you through.)
Weeknights & Saturdays - All available spots are open to folks who are coming to Saint Andrew's for worship or other church-related activities. (Availability may be limited due to baseball or other events.)
Weekday Business Hours - Up to five open spots (preferably the spots closest to the stairs from the parking lot—numbered 101 to 105) are available for Saint Andrew's parishioners and staff here for church-related events. (If we foresee the need for more than five on a particular weekday, we will work with PSBC to obtain permission for additional spots.)
Ground Floor of Homewood Suites Parking Garage (Across N. Markley Street from Parish Hall) (Weeknights, Weekends, and Holidays Only) - When coming to worship or any other church event, Saint Andrew’s parishioners, who have a church parking decal in the window of the car, can park in the ungated ground floor of the Homewood Suites Parking Garage outside of the regular business day (Weeknights, Weekends, and Holidays). These spots should always be available to parishioners on Sunday morning. Please make sure to park in the spots with red and white signs that say “Warning: Permit Parking Only.” Your Saint Andrew’s decal is considered your permit (and you are not entering the gated portion of the garage). If you need a decal, please contact the office.
Street Parking on North Markley and South Main Street (and any other public parking) - Please note that some of the spots on North Markley have signage indicating “Church Parking SUN 9:30 AM-2:00 PM, WED 5:30 PM-8:00 PM (as pictured in the banner image above). If you park in those spots without a Saint Andrew’s Church window decal, you may receive a parking fine.
